About This Chapter
The general tells Ganymede that he has been sent by the prince to search his mansion and find the escaped criminal. The general says that he will obey the prince's orders, but Ganyemede protests that it is the job of a civilian to search a mansion. Ganyeman tells the general that he must search the mansion because he knows that the rat has been there. He says that if he had refused the job, he would have sent people to search the house himself. Ganyeeman tells him that someone has been spying on him, and that he should come with him to the camp to find the rat and protect him. He also tells Ganemede that the prince has issued an order charging him with treason.
