The narrator tells us that he's not in love with his girlfriend, and that he doesn't plan to get married either. He says that he wants to be with someone else, but that he can't marry his girlfriend because she's pregnant. The narrator says that it's weird that he would want to marry someone who isn't his girlfriend. He also says that if he were to marry her, he would have to take responsibility for her pregnancy. He tells the narrator that he should try to be friends with someone instead of getting married to her, because it'll make him feel better about himself. He then asks the narrator what type of person he likes, and the narrator tells him that he used to cry when he was a kid, and is now a little foolish.
