About This Chapter
It's been months since shell died, and now that he's dead, Edgar finally feels like he can do anything he wants with his life. He wants to win a million dollars, but he doesn't know how to do it. He's afraid that if he loses, he'll never be able to get back to the drawing board again. But he does have one more thing to say: he wants to split all of his hands. He can't figure out who's playing the cards, but it's hard to figure out why they're playing so many cards at once. He figures out that she'll win a lot of money if she wins, and then lose a lot if she loses. But she's so smart that she can figure out that if she won, she'd get a lot more money than if she lost. She'll also get to keep the money that she won. And then she can split it all up with her next two cards, which will make her the new king of the world. Edgar wants to know what's up with all of this. He knows that the owner of the casino won't be there today, so he has to ask him to carry a secret chip that's in an 8th-century safe. It turns out that the secret chip has been in use for over 20 years, and the owner wants Edgar to carry it. Edgar is so happy to see him again that he decides to check out the first secret chip.
