Hiroyuki and his friend Aoshima arrive at the zoo and greet each other. Hiroyuki explains that he has come to see the giraffes, who sleep for an average of 30 minutes and their necks only sleep for one day a week. He tells his friend that when he graduates from college, he wants to become a veterinarian. He explains that his dog died when he was a puppy, and that he could not do anything to help him, but that he watched him die and that was all he could do. He asks his friend if he has seen the doctor's report on the dog's death, and she says that she has not. She then asks him why he does not ask her to show her the latest episode of The Office.
