About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a conversation between the Governess and her son-in-law. The Governess tells the boy that he is welcome to stay at her house. She tells him that her daughter, saki, has brought him to her house because she wants him to be a part of her family. She also tells him about her daughter's love for foreign television shows and how she likes to watch them with her daughter. She asks the boy if he is an actor. She says that she does not need money in exchange for him, as she is lonely and does not have any friends. She adds that she would like to see saki and her new husband married, but she is afraid that her father will get angry when he gets angry and the marriage is called off. He adds that he can feel everything in his body, and that his vision gets better when he drinks human blood.
