About This Chapter
The speech begins with Hasuki's speech, in which he tells the story of how he came to run for prefect. When he was little, he was shy and didn't think he could be like the prefects. But when he met someone, he realized that he could do more than just be a prefect. He started making friends that made him happy, and that's how he became the prefect he is today. He wants to create a cozy prefect office where everyone can drop by and talk to him about their concerns. He promises to go all the time with snacks and tea. The speech ends with a discussion of the importance of dividing black and white on campus. He says that he will build a wall between the two groups so that they can't mix in classrooms, lessons, or other aspects of their lives. He also pledges to make sure that there are no cell phones in the dorms and that they don't have curfews.
