About This Chapter
In this short scene, we are introduced to a new character named San. He is the protagonist of the story, and he is the one who has won the title of "Whack-a-Mole" in the recent World Cosplay Competition. He has won this title because of his performance in the competition and because of a bet he made with a girl named Kiyomi. The other protagonist, who is called "Kiyo-san," is also the protagonist, but he has lost the bet and is now the loser of the competition. When the protagonist enters the changing room, he is surprised to find that the other protagonist has already won the competition, and that he and his co-actors are the "winners" of the contest. The protagonist, however, is not satisfied with the prize he has won. He wants to apologize to Kiyo-san, who has been bullying him in front of the other characters, for making him feel like a loser in the first place.
