About This Chapter
Okay, now we're back in the real world. Umeko is all, "I'm sorry, but I'm not going to do anything about it." Umeko's not the only one who's worried about what's going to happen to her family if she's caught. She's also worried about how she'll be able to pay her rent if she gets caught, since the landlord isn't going to give her any more money. Uh-oh... Umeko tells us that she doesn't think it's a big deal that the landlord won't give her more money, since he's already given her more than she asked for, and that she shouldn't worry about asking for more money from him now that he'll have to ask for it again in a few months. She also says that she'd be happy to help out if she could, since it'll give her a chance to fix up the place herself.
