In this short scene, we learn that the alchemist has finished his potion and is now on his way to the final. He is about to finish when he sneezes, which causes his elixir to explode. The alchemist is so impressed by the sneeze that he declares that he is the poison king. He asks the alchemist if he can tell him who he really is, and the alchemist says that he still needs to kick the "old b stardoff" off of this stage. He says that "charming virtue and women" are the two most important obstacles to one's success, and that he cannot be tied down in this stage with the alchemist. He tells the alchemist that he will kill him if he does not leave him alone.
