When the group returns to the pantry, they find that everyone has gone inside to find medical supplies. As they wait for the group to return, one of the boys asks if he can carry a torch. When the boy realizes that the torch is for them to hide their scent, he asks the boy to give him a hand. The boy tells him that the boy has passed out and that he should not worry about him anymore. When he sees the boy's face, he realizes that he is not the only one in the group who has fled. He also realizes that there are many people in the pantry.
