Now that he's escaped, the monster says, he can't imagine what's going to happen to him in the future. He doesn't know if he'll ever be able to get out of the house. He's not sure if the kitchen is full of zombies or not. The only thing that's sure is that the kitchen will be overrun with them in a day or so. The monster says that he and his mom are safe, but that he needs to get some help from his mom. He asks his mom if she's okay, and she says no. The teacher says that she hasn't heard from him in a while, and that he hasn'ta message from her either. He also says that the lights are still on, because the monsters didn't notice that he was still alive.
