No. Actually the MC Guy Jun has a medical condition that increases his pain tolerance. The issue with a condition like this is that he may or may not know when to treat an life threatening injury.

High pain tolerance. It's a wild but real medical condition.
This is an excellent approach for a comic to use, I've only ever seen it used one other time and thag was with the Escape Room Sequel.
