These are mature men, no boys. Men. And the uke has some trauma and baggage so he is super guarded, but the seme is so steadfast and confident, not too pushy, gentle… sweet, the both of them. The extras are great. The main story seems a bit slow, but it’s mature, not meant to be the quick emotions of, well, boys and youth, even if the seme seems to want to pursue immediately because the uke is perfectly his type. They communicate, even if the communication is a bit dishonest, and “I don’t want to talk about it” occasionally, and the uke trying to avoid, since he’s so guarded. It was a nice break from all the insta-love, assaults, and extreme drama I’ve been reading (not that those can’t be enjoyable as well, but change of pace can be good occasionally)
