About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the demon children have always regarded the gods and goddesses as their enemies. They've even lost confidence in themselves as one of their ten commands. When they're down on their luck, it's a human who takes them in. This is the first time we've heard anyone say that they've lost faith in their own abilities as a group. It's not just the humans, though, who've fallen under the spell of the gods. It goes all the way back to Elizabeth, who risked her life for the sake of the group when they were in danger of being killed by the gods' stigma. It was a human, after all, who took the group in when they needed it the most. So, yeah, we're pretty sure that the humans have fallen under their spell, too. He's sorry, but he doesn't care. He just wants to go home and have some fun with his friends. The kid says that he's already been planning to give his command back to the demon lord anyway, so he won't have to worry about it anymore. He can just grab his sword and stab it in the guts if he wants to. He also says that if the demon lords are going to give their commands back to him anyway, they'll have to die fighting for it. He tells the kid that he was born without the power of darkness, which is why he
