In this chapter, the narrator asks to know the address of a student at Yonsei University. He is unable to find the student's home address from the school's president's office, so he goes to a teaching assistant. He asks if the student is a friend of the student, and the teaching assistant tells him that the student does not answer his calls or texts. The narrator decides to go to Yonsei to find out if something has happened. When he arrives at the university, he finds Yonsei's friend, Choe-Hun, waiting for him. He tells the friend that he does not have time to attend a party that Yonsei has arranged for him, and that he will not be able to make the party because he has an appointment. The two men begin to argue, with Yonsei insisting that he should come to the party if a senior invites him to do so. The young man, however, refuses to listen to the senior's argument, and he begins to cry. When the young man tries to calm him down, he asks Yonsei if he is really crying, and Yonsei says that he is not. He then invites the two men to sit next to each other, and they drink together. When Yonsei asks if they should leave the two of them alone, the young men reply that they would like to, but that they do not know if Yonsei wants them to, too.
