Back in Hong Kong, the Governess tells her son-in-law that she's going to be out of town for a few days. She tells him to stay put and not to go anywhere. He tells her that he's helping him to clean up the house, and he'll make sure that everything's okay. The Governess says that her bloodlust isn't good for her, but she says that back then, she and her father were doing so well that she would say that it was great for her. She's shocked to hear that her father has been shot. She says that she doesn't want to be sad, because she didn't do anything wrong. She just wants to be with her daughter.
