About This Chapter
The narrator tells the story of the little boy who was found in the forest. He tells the boy to calm down and explain what happened. The little boy says that it was a fairy-shaped ceramic egg. The narrator says that he is glad the child was safe and sound and that there are things in dreams that can't be seen in the real world. The festival is coming up and the festival is being held in the same place as last year. Everyone has been hard at work to prepare for the festival and everyone is thanking everyone for their hard work. It's going to be a great festival, the narrator says. He asks the boy why he hasn't picked up his phone yet. The boy says he's blind and that he doesn't even know where he is. He says he came to the festival looking for fairies. He also tells the kid that a lot of kids in the area run away from their homes because they're afraid of being found. The kid's family has all left the area and the police have retired.
