About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Henry has sent a sick patient to a mental hospital, and that he has not been punished for his actions. Henry tells us that if he had done anything wrong, he would have been punished, but he has done nothing wrong. He says that he only loves him because he is a bad person, so he doesn't trust him at all. Henry asks if he would be jealous of his own hand if he were to have done something wrong, and he replies that he wouldn't be jealous, but that he'd be jealous if he did something wrong. Henry then asks where he thinks he's going, and asks why he is telling him this story. Henry says he didn't intend to tell him the story, but to ask how he was doing out of politeness. Henry reminds him of a "moai statue" and asks if it's possible to bring a moai back from the east with your money. He asks if Henry is going to apologize for trying to shoot at him with a gun, and Henry says that it would be better if they could go visit the grave together. Henry wants to know if they can go visit his father's grave together, and says that would be a nice thing to do. Henry is confused by this request, because he has no idea what he'll do with the document he asked for. Henry has returned from Asher's house, and has been tied to a chair by Henry.
