In this final scene of the series, Yeoh-Cheol wonders why his body doesn't move when he tries to get up. He wonders if it's a dream or something else, but he can't figure out what's going on. He feels like he's sunk into the sea. Yeoh asks him why he feels this way, and he tells her that his power comes from god. If he were an ordinary man, he'd be dead by now. But Yeoh says that she's been able to adjust to life in the modern world thanks to the help of bu-yong, and she wonders why he wouldn't go through all of the trouble that he went through to get to where he is today. She asks why he didn't just go through the chaos of the revolution with gelim and the others, and why he neglected his duties to them.
