About This Chapter
The next morning, Goeun tells her husband that the fight between the two women has ended, and that she has gone to her room to prepare for the next day's competition. She tells him that her arm has been injured in the fight, and she plans to go up to the shop to get it fixed. She says that she will take a shower, and then she will go up and fix her arm. She asks him why he keeps wearing the pants of someone else, and he says that he took them out to wear himself. He says that they are fighting more and more and that it is a good time to be fighting. He asks her why she is fussing about all the things she wants to tell him now that she is gone. She replies that she should have lived well if she had run away with the "wench" and left her children to prepare her ancestral rite for her.
