When the festival opens, the number of people in the park breaks 100,000 faster than any other place in the country. The narrator tells us that he's with his friend, and that he wants to be with him, even if he doesn't remember what he felt when he first met him. The two of them argue about whether or not they should go to the festival, and the narrator admits that he does want to go, even though he can't really remember what it was like when he met her. He tells the narrator that the festival is a great opportunity for him and his friend to have a good time, and he asks the narrator if he can respond to his confession. He says he'll respond to it, but first he asks if she's going too, and she says yes, and then she asks if he'd like to go with her, too. She tells him that she'd rather be with her friend than with anyone else, but that she wants to go anyway, because it's a good opportunity for her and her friend's friendship. She asks him if he would like to beat up the two whoosh, but he says no, because they're too strong for him. He also tells her that he won't beat up anyone who's not a girl, because that will teach her to "butt in" . He then tells her to drop the cool, and collect who the heck is beating up on them. He calls them "the little dammid" , and tells them to stop beating on him, too, because this is the only thing they can do to him. Then he tells them that they've messed up the area, and they need to call the police, because the rest of the people are trespassing on their property. He's taking him to the hospital, and says that they are his family, and not the other way around.
