About This Chapter
In this short scene, Nemo and the rest of the company are introduced to Nemo's new assistant, a girl named Naomi Otoya. Nemo introduces himself as "Busu," which means "ugly" in Japanese. He says that if anyone says that he looks ugly, he'll just say, "Hey, I'm ugly, too." He tells the girl that he's going to teach her how to wait for someone to give her a custom name. Nemo then asks the girl what her last name is, and the girl says that it means "stuck-up girl" . Nemo tells her that if she were hot and her type, she could call her anything she wanted, but that she'd be sorry for being ugly, then "typical stuck -- up girl." The girl says she'll have Nemo learn how to call her "anything you want" , and then she asks him why he took out a light to show off his smile. Nemo replies that he was just trying to prove that it was the water's smile that was the real reason for his smile . The girl thinks that Nemo is trying to start something, but she doesn't understand why her looks matter. Nemo asks her what she's staring at, and she says that staring at "smiling scum" is "so sooth ing." Nemo thanks the girl for all her hard work, and Nemo says that she looks like a nice person, and that he should charge her for it. Nemo calls her "sakurako," or "kitahara," and then he asks her why she didn't call him "Sakurako." She says that since Nemo is super hot, he should just give him up. Nemo says he'd like to be with Nemo, too, but he can't because Nemo is way out of his league. They're "perfect for each other," he says, and they're going to have
