The next morning, the gang tries to figure out how to get rid of Bant without killing him. They're planning a game of hide-and-seek, where one person hides behind a wall and another hides behind another. The first person to hide behind the wall wins, and the second person wins by hiding behind the first person. Bant's hiding place is where the cops are waiting for him, so they're going to have to kill him before they can kill him. The gang decides to kill Bant in the middle of the night, when he's still alive, so that he won't have to worry about killing himself. They ask Bant to take off his clothes, and Bant says he'll do it.
