Sayumi asks how it went, and she tells him that she's glad he didn't tell her how he felt. She also tells him how much she cares for him, and that he shouldn't worry about it, because he's not a teenager anymore. Sayumi tells her that it's impossible for a teenager and an adult to get along, because they're different in so many ways. He also tells her about his past, and how he lost the love of his life seven years ago in a car accident. She tells him not to cry, because she doesn't want him to think too much about it. He asks her to tell him about her, but she says he should just shut up and go to work.
