About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Hinata and her sister, Akari, are out for a date. When the two of them look at each other, Hinata says, "look like it's going to let up" . Akari responds by saying that she's just like her little sister, and that she just looks like a human being. Hinata asks Akari to think of something that would make her happy, and Akari says that he should think of what would make him happy, because he doesn't yet know what happiness is. He says he'll "bend his heart" to go celibate with Akari and his sister, but first, he wants to make sure that the ocean is clear of his "jurisdiction" , which means he's naked. Amaterasu, he says, is a goddess that "got mad" when he saw her naked, so she'd better stop calling him "amat." He says that if the sun is like this, then it means that the goddess is hiding away. If the goddess hides away, then the sun will hide away as well. The goddess can bring forth blessings and misfortune, she says. She's a goddess of both good and bad, and she can bring both blessings and bad things together. The three of them decide to go for a walk together, and Hinata thanks Akari for taking her sister's love away from her.
