About This Chapter
In this chapter, the pirate explains that he has been kicked out of his house by the Governess, who tells him that it is not a safe place for him to be a pirate king. The Governess's children are not with her, and she is not allowed to visit them either. She tells the children that they are hers and that she will take care of them. The kitten is still alive, and he looks like a miniature of his father. The father is a doctor, and the kitten looks like his own brother. The kittens are happy to see their mother, and they beg her to let them play with the baby. She says that the baby looks just like his father, and that he is growing up fast. She asks the kitten why he has to climb up the wall to get to his father's house. He tells her that he had to baptize the kitten because he was going to hell. He says that his back hurts so badly that he could eat him up. He asks her to tell him what happened to him while he was away. He was supposed to have stolen a ship, but the crew that he borrowed from him did not help him, and his boy is not friendly to ears. He wonders if he needs a book to break his illusion. He wants to see if there are people interested in printing a comic version of the book. He also wants to focus on the Flower and the Nose, which has been out of print for four months.
