The next morning, Proteus and the others discuss the events of the previous day. They have received an order from the sect master to find the person who committed the evil, and to report the incident to the higher levels of society. They are the fifteenth of fifty squads sent out by the master. The fifteen members of the squad have been sent out to find out what has happened to the festival. They decide to eat and then go investigate. They find an augmented undead and decide to follow it. They also find a ghost painting skin, which they believe to be that of the corpse. They discuss the titles of the seven Heavenly Kings, seven demons, seven great Emperors, seven promising talents, seven melons, and so on.
