In this chapter, we learn that the penglai kids are trying to teach the others how to use their talismans. They're also trying to figure out how to make faces so that they can communicate with each other. We learn that they're using the talisman in their hand as a way to communicate, and that the impurities in their hands have disappeared. This is a big deal, because it means that they no longer need the chenghua magic tool to communicate with one another. We're not sure what's wrong with the iron hand, but we're guessing that it's not very good at communicating with the other side of the wall. The sisters are psyched to see what they've learned.
