This chapter's epigraph comes from a famous nursery rhyme by the same name. It's about a little boy who's afraid to go to the bottom of a hole in the wall because he's scared of the insects. The little boy is afraid that the insects inside the hole are going to attack him. He's also afraid that they're going to kill him, so he tells the little boy to go back to the top of the hole.
