When the twins arrive at the orphanage, they are greeted by the Governess, who asks them if they have eaten. The Governess tells the twins that she has brought them some food and asks them to eat together. The twins tell her that they have not yet eaten and that they are not sure where they have been. When they are finished eating, they ask if they can go for a walk. They do so, and when they return, they find that they do not know where they had been. They are surprised that they had not been told sooner, and they are still not sure why. They decide to go back to the orphanage and wait for their turn.
