In this chapter, we learn that Little Flower has returned to her father's side. He tells her that she is no longer a child, and that she must not change her appearance, remain within five feet of him, or speak to him in a foreign language. He also tells her to watch her tongue. Little Flower asks if she can have a sumptuous feast, and he replies that she can. She has a yin-yang tao body, which means she can cultivate both yin and yang arts together. He wonders if she is really at the top of her game, and wonders whether she should have been admitted as a disciple in the first place
