In this chapter, we learn that Shumyo's job is gone, and he's broke. He's worried that he won't have enough money to pay his bills, and that he'll lose his ability to work in the future. He also worries about his bank account, which is in tatters, and about whether or not he can find a job. He tells us that he was nervous about the monster world tour in '05, but now he feels like it's a totally different experience.
