The ghost tells Asa that he has made a mistake in letting her see him in such a pitiful state. He tells her that he must restore his grip on her as soon as he can. Asa tells the ghost that she is afraid that he is a creep and that he should be careful not to let her see his bad behavior. The ghost reassures Asa by saying that he was not scared of the room or lack of sleep. He says that the night before he and Asa had been crushing the heads of a bunch of swindlers.
