About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Elsie has been separated from her team, and that she has been using her stop-the-all link to communicate with her friends. Elsie, however, is not her enemy, and she and her friends are determined to stop the evil plot of Shura. They are also aware that some of their friends are "androids" , and they want to work together against Shura, but they do not know how to do so. They decide to play a game of "lost card," where each player gets five cards, one through five, and whoever picks the highest number of cards wins. Whoever picks the card that has the highest winning number wins. The winning card is the one with the most winning number, and the losing card has the lowest winning number. Thus, each player has five winning cards and five losing cards. The only way to play the game is to pick the winning card with the least number of winning cards. This way, he says, he can get two wins. This is because he can play the reverse of the game, picking cards with a higher winning number and losing cards with cards with lower winning numbers. This will give him the advantage of being able to pick cards with higher winning numbers, and thus, he will be able to win.
