About This Chapter
"The wicked un-roehampton" In this chapter, we learn that Nemo is studying at a boarding school in London. Nemo's father has tried to get Nemo to stay away from the school, but Nemo has refused. The two of them are now having an argument, and Nemo says that he's disgusted by the whole thing. He compares Nemo to a "fucking offensive" person, and says that Nemo should have stayed out of his life without going to the school. He also says that the girl who sent him the link to all the girls at the school sent him a link to hers, too, and that he could have just said the right thing. Nemo doesn't understand why Nemo would want to judge him, since he didn't just come to judge Nemo. He thinks that Nemo has a "body made of hubris" with "trace elements" of "w . . believe" that Nemo agreed to throw a party. The girl says that if Nemo is the one who is causing the pain, it means that he is not the "predator" or "victim" of the pain. She says that someone always will be hurt, whether it's Nemo or someone else, and if he is the cause, it is because he is "not the prey" . He says that his life is "destined to be this" , and he wants to get out of the school and get home. He asks Nemo to help him, but he says he can't. He tells Nemo that a third of the girls in the school are angry at him, and wants to know why he is acting like a "thick" person. He's not sure if he'll be able to help, but says he will try.
