At the roundhouse, tara explains that she's here for the pleasure of others. She's a goddess, but she doesn't want to be easy. She wants people to see things that aren't obvious. She screams at the top of her lungs when she hears ananke talking to her. She says that all her life she was told she was a goddess and that she encouraged her, but none of them seem to hate her like she does. They're all ways to hide, she says. At this point, she thinks, she'd like to see morri join the party. She also says that if she had princess-like perfection, everyone would be there to help her, and everyone would help her if she didn't. She thinks they need to find a way to make it seem like they're talking to each other, and she says that her mum would kill her for pretending to be a goddess. tara says that she can't understand why they hate her, because she never really wanted to be their goddess. She hates it, but it is wonderful. .
