About This Chapter

He says that the time has come for the old legends and beliefs to pass on, and that the crossing must be done by force. He explains that the druids have tricked his mother to come to the island so that they can fall in love with his father. Jim says that he has been able to lend the other fairy's magic to them, but that he is not strong enough to defeat them all on his own. He asks the other fairies to help him open a door so that he and his family can return to Japan.
