In this chapter, we learn that a person who is born with an "inborn power jewel" can only possess nine of these jewels at any one time. This means that, even if a person is a "physical jewel master," he or she can only have up to nine "mental jewel masters" . In other words, a person born with a physical jewel can't be as strong as a person with a mental jewel, because they're both born with the same amount of power. This is because physical jewels are harder to get than mental jewels, and physical jewels can only be gotten with nine of them. So, if you've got a physical master and you're a mental master, you can only get nine of your power jewels. So basically, the physical master is stronger than the mental master because he has more power. The mental master is even stronger because he's got nine of his power jewels , but he can only use them to get nine out of the total of ten power jewels he has.
