About This Chapter
A statue of a mysterious serial killer stands on the ancient execution ground. The statue's eyes are "terrifying" . The narrator tells us that the statue is a fake, and that the story behind it is a real one. Apparently, a thousand years before, a man named "lyme" committed a series of murders in the town "Kap" , and the princess of the town caught the murderer and killed him. The townspeople believed that the man was a serial killer, and he claimed that he was using a parchment that was said to be his "d notes," or death notes, which looked like a code. He also claimed that the parchment contained a code that would lead him back to the future. He was to be executed on July 25th, but the weather was bad that day, so the execution was postponed until later in the day.
