About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the taoists from the "Qianhui valley" have been talking to one of the senior scepters of their sect. The taoist tells us that he's heard that the senior from the sect is doing well, and he'd like to ask him for advice. He also says that the valley is very mysterious, and that he can't figure out how to deal with it. He tells us to calm down and not to ask about other sects' secrets, because they're too complicated for him to understand. He says that his disciple's "root bone" is very good, which is why he was able to get out of his master's grasp. He thanks his uncle for taking good care of his disciple, and asks him to forgive him for blocking his way to the gathering. He then asks the senior of the sect to show him the invitation token. The senior says that he brought his junior sister and his disciple to the meeting. He asks them to show the token from their sect, and tells them to stand behind him and not go near them. The two of them look at each other suspiciously, and the senior tells them that they are all like "minded people" , and it seems that they can only pass through the mountain gate first. He warns them that he won't be able to pass, since they are like "demons" . He reminds them that it's 40 "heavenly heaven and earth" that they need to pass through to get to heaven, and warns them not to get too close to the other sect's members. He adds that they should catch the "demon" and let the master deal with him. The monk says that this is a good idea, because "evil demons" are really rampant in the valley, and they
