It's been almost a month since the narrator started working at the Host Club, and he's tired. He complains that he hasn't seen any improvement in his job. The owner comes in and thanks him for his hard work, but he doesn't seem to know how to respond to his boss's requests. He asks if he can have a meal after work, and the owner says he'll have one after this one. The host says he ordered as much as he wanted, and that it was a good opportunity to learn more about different drinks. The guest gushes about how much he loves drinking, and how excited he is to get out of bed. He's drunk so much that he almost faints, but the owner tells him to take a cab home.
