In this chapter, we are introduced to the host of a new club. He is introduced as a "brat" who has just arrived at the club and is trying to make friends with the other club members. The new host is shocked to learn that the club has a policy against "inappropriate contact." The host asks the new host what he is doing, and the host tells him that he is "just a dirty snot" . The host apologizes, saying that if he had known how to react, he would not have been so shocked. He apologizes for his behavior, and says that he wishes he had noticed sooner.
