About This Chapter
In this short scene, Cai tells his servant, who is also named Su, that he has a junior who can beat him in a fight. He tells him that the boy is named Lin, and that his master has said that Lin is a genius who only appears once in a thousand years. He also tells Cai that Lin has passed down the sword dragon-slayer to another boy named Cangsong, who has also passed the sword down to Lin. Cai then tells the other boy, named Xiaofan, to stop being so mean to Lin, because Lin is so talented. He then tells him to apologize to Lin for his behavior. Lin apologizes, saying that he was trying to check out Lin's sword-fighting skills when he saw Cai riding his sword. Cai blames himself for the incident, and tells the boy that he should not be so cruel to juniors like him.
