The narrator wakes up this morning and wonders where he should go to summon the sphere. He's not sure if he'll be able to find his way back to the city, but he does know that he's locked himself in a room with Scott Shepard, who hasn't returned home from work yet. The narrator is happy that he and Scott are always with each other, even when they're apart. He tells the narrator that he sent Scott to work, expecting to find him angry and ready to kill him. Instead, he finds himself angry and angry at Scott. He accuses Scott of being responsible for the disappearance of his "boyfriend," but he doesn't know the name of the man. He swears that he never had a boyfriend, but that he can't figure out what happened. He says that his powers have all come back to him since the last fight, and that he has no idea what happened to his boyfriend. He wants to throw Scott out of the building, but Scott refuses to listen to him. He asks the narrator if he still loves him, and the narrator tells him that he does, but it's hard for him to explain why.
