He asks his father to visit him as his elder, and marry him as soon as he can. Both of them will die if they get married, he says, and he has a solution. He tells his father that the life element of a cultivator is the "basic stuff" that one needs to cultivate. Without it, a cultivator cannot cultivate, and if one removes one's life element, the cultivation will be undone. He says that the arranged marriage is to destroy him, because he cannot sacrifice his "life element" , and thus, the marriage will destroy both of them. He then says that he will get rid of the guards.
