About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that two kinds of farewells are to take place: one is to celebrate the new life of a disciple, and the other is to say goodbye to a disciple who has broken away from the mountain. The first one is for a new demon to join a party, while the second is a farewell for a disciple to leave. Senior Ming, the mountain lord, is at the peak of the mountain, celebrating the day that he has become a demon. He introduces his disciple, junior Ming, who has just joined the party. Ming tells Ming that he and Ming have been cultivating together on the peak for three years, but Ming has just gotten married, and has not yet had a child. Ming says that Ming is the most powerful demon disciple among them, and that he will kill as many demons as possible in the future to avenge the death of others. Ming also tells Ming about the other disciple, who was embarrassed by Ming's last confrontation with him. Ming asks Ming if he convinced Ming to stop cultivating, and Ming tells him that he was so good to Ming that Ming apologized to Ming for making fun of him in the past. Ming then tells Ming to take a picture of Ming and another disciple before Ming and Ming leave the peak. Ming takes the picture and Ming says Ming should take time with his cultivation. Ming promises to leave the place one day to protect the world and to kill all the demons.
