In this chapter, Ren and Caiyu discuss the situation at school. Caiyu tells Ren that he exaggerated Caiyu's hunger so that Caiyu wouldn't be able to eat human flesh. He also tells Caiyu that he killed Caiyu and absorbed his ancestors, so Caiyu can have eternal life and rule the whole world. He explains that he wanted to disguise himself as Caiyu so that he could accumulate strength, but this plan didn't work out because Caiyu took too long to consume his spiritual power. Now, Caiyu knows that he's going to have to kill Caiyu in order to gain spiritual power, but he doesn't know what to do with it.
