The narrator takes a look around the school and sees that there's a lot of activity going on. He hears rumors that if you talk to a teacher, everything's going to be fine. He also hears that the headmaster has fallen for the teacher's tricks and that he's been able to stop her from causing trouble. The narrator feels like he has been reborn with a new haircut and beard. The headmaster has been falling for her tricks, too. The teacher is holding a picture of a demon king, and the narrator can transform it into anything he wants. He wants to know if it's possible to exchange the picture for power. The author tells the narrator to help him through the drawings so that he doesn't know that the teacher has violated the school rules. He's not sure what the teacher was trying to teach him, but he knows that it was a sin against God to smoke in the school grounds. He wonders why there are so many people waiting for him.
