In this short scene, Sik Yeow-cheol and his servant, Soo Hyun-woo, confront each other. Sik is furious that his servant is trying to frame him for the murder of his master. He accuses Soo-woo of being the one who raped Kim's mistress. He also accuses the minister's servant of being involved in the torture of Yeon-gang at the office of the prime minister. Sik asks the officer who came to see him if he can talk to his daughter about the raiders. The officer tells Sik that the tax collector's house was searched and the servant who was found guilty was immediately executed.
