In this chapter, the reader is introduced to a new character, Shu Yuekuang, who is a master of the spacial system. He has mastered the system in under six hours, and he challenges Shu to a duel to see who can master the system the fastest. Shu's mastery of the system is impressive, but Shu is too weak to face the challenge. Shu explains that he only knows half of the rules, so the "repulsion force" is growing stronger and stronger, and so he must catch up. Shu is almost at his limit, but he knows that if he falls down, he will become a laughingstock.
